Your sister, friend, cousin…whoever…just had a baby! She’s accepting visitors now, so what on earth do you bring? Here’s a few things I came up with:
Diaper Caddy. At our baby shower, we had everyone bring their gifts unwrapped, and what turned into a purpose of not having to open presents in front of everyone (makes me uncomfy), actually became a wonderful tool for organizing the nursery! Many of our guests brought items in these caddies and made things very handy to organize all of those miscellaneous baby things.
Tumbler Mug. I knowwww. Get her a StAnLeY. But seriously, I found that just remembering to drink water to be a task that I forgot as a new mom. This is an offbrand one, but does the trick.
Ice Roller. Help mama wake up. Help mama hide those undereye baggies. Help mama feel refreshed. (kinda)
Blanket. Can’t use enough blankets for all of the late nights being trapped under a sleepy newborn. And since everyone remembers to buy the baby blankets, why not a full size one for mom?
Slippers. I’m just a slipper gal. And also felt like mine got yucky at the hospital and ended up throwing them away. New Mom, New Slippers.
Food! Can’t go wrong with this one. If you’re unsure of what to bring, just bring food. Trust me, both mom & dad will appreciate this one.
